8th Annual Real Estate Forum

For the first time ever, the 8th Annual Real Estate Forum was held in a DEBATE STYLE form. Blaine Strickland from the Massimo Group presented the state of the real estate market from a national, regional, and local level. Then Gerry Dedenbach and Thomas Hawkins debated on transportation issues followed by a debate on land development regulations by Mike Bylerly and Dean Cheshire. After the event, attendees were polled on their view of the issues being debated.
Debate #1 - Transportation
Debate will address the prioritization of transportation modes, and how to provide a sustainable transportation system that promotes economic stability, resilience, and balanced opportunities.
Debate #2 - Land Development Regulations
Debate will encompass residential and commercial development, storm water, green space, tree and other mitigation, development costs and its effects, and the protection of natural resources.
