I have been in the commercial real estate business in Florida since 1999 after I decided early in my 20s that having a successful career as a personal trainer was less likely to help me achieve a few life goals for myself and my family. I have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Masters in Real Estate from the University of Florida. I earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in just a few short years working in commercial real estate.
From 2011 thru 2020, I teamed up with Todd Rainsberger, a successful commercial Realtor (and also my father-in-law). Some might think that partnership would be difficult, but I found we really complement each other. Together we acquired an interest in Coldwell Banker Commercial M.M. Parrish. The firm is a business icon with over 114 years of continuous operation. It was at this point that I decided to specialize in the brokering of multifamily assets because people will always need a place to live, buying a home is becoming more and more unaffordable, and there are always investors wanting an income stream. Coldwell Banker Commercial has thousands of agents across 40+ countries. I was consistently ranked as the #1 multifamily producer in Florida for the brand and among the Top 5 in the nation every year before starting my own private multifamily brokerage firm in 2021. I regularly do speaking engagements at industry conferences and to private companies. I have an ever-growing YouTube channel (called Beau Knows Multifamily) where I guide viewers on how to buy more multifamily assets, how to sell them, and how to conduct market analysis. I most enjoy my tours of new listings and am told they are very entertaining and worthy of subscribing. I also wrote a book called “Multifamily Investors Who Dominate” that I hope will lead all who read it to more success. Who needs sleep when the world needs this information?
My true passion is being a father to my two boys, Carson and Gresham. Our time rock climbing, caving, white water rafting, skiing, swimming, lounging in the hot tub, attending Gator sports, playing in the back yard, boogie-boarding in the surf, and fishing are priceless. I have been married to my wife Melissa since 2002. Together we have been avid triathletes, which give us quality time together. You know you are busy when doing a triathlon with your wife is your down time and date night all in one. I have an obsessive love for the Porsche 911. Driving “Heidi”, my 911, is my escape and meditation. I love to make others smile and laugh, often at my own expense. My father-in-law jokes that I lack the embarrassment gene. My personal motto is, "I live to create unforgettable memories with my wife and kids and bring fun and laughter to others."
Blaine is a 40-year veteran of the commercial and multifamily real estate industry. He’s held leadership positions in national companies and companies he started himself. He’s worked as a producer, manager, broker, consultant, developer, investor, coach and instructor. He’s raised money for his projects through both debt and equity sources. Blaine’s vast experiences, along with his thirst to learn, enables him to bring a broad perspective to the issues real estate investors face.
Beau Beery Multifamily Advisors uses Blaine’s insights gleaned from his decades of experience to assist their multifamily clients. This includes guidance on business plans, maximum sales price, marketing, acquisition growth, negotiations, surveys, resolving conflicts, and efficiency.
Blaine has advised Beau personally for several years and was instrumental in guiding Beau’s best-selling book, Multifamily Investors Who Dominate, released in 2021 – which is why the book is dedicated to him.
Blaine has been married to Eileen for 40 years, and along with his father and son, are part of the first three generation family of CCIM designees.
We are Carson and Gresham, Beau's sons. We know he would love to have us work the "family business" in the future, but first we will have to figure out exactly what he does. He likes to goof around so much it probably won't even feel like work. We are in high school and middle school so it may take a while before we make the payroll. So for now we will just watch and learn...and make fun of how loud he talks on the phone ;)
Josh is a Gainesville native – a genuine ACR. He’s lived in other places along the way, but always finds his way home. Josh is a marketing and web design guru. He first discovered his passion for smart marketing as the co-founder and owner of Alter Ego Fitness in Gainesville. After he sold his fitness business, he founded Red Zero Web Design, working with many local businesses to help establish and grow their online capabilities. It was through his work with Red Zero that he really refined his ‘best-in-class’ web design skills. Josh’s entrepreneurial background serves as a helpful backdrop to his support role. He is fanatical about helping to build and manage our brand. With the loudest voice in the building (any building), Josh is a top notch communicator and teacher. His can-do, collaborative approach to solving tough challenges is refreshing, and his energy and humor are infectious. Josh makes everything around him better – and that’s why everyone loves working with him.
I'm Melissa Beery, Beau's wife (if the last name wasn't a give away). I was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida. I love all things science and graduated with a B.S. in Nutrition/Dietetics from the University of Florida with the thought of going into medicine. So naturally I would wind up as the Director of Finance in our family business. That's what I get for saying, "I can do that".
It's fun working with my husband, and I've learned how to handle his intense passion for numbers and expense line item details...things only a wife could love. I have recently expanded my title to include Creative Director for Beau's Youtube channel by not learning my lesson the first time and again saying, "I can do that". I have no background in these fields, but would like to think I've become rather proficient at both (because there is always an internet video that can teach you anything). I fear I will have another weak moment and acquire another job title soon.
Most of my time is spent taking care of our boys, Carson and Gresham. I love the challenges and joy they bring to my life. I'm an avid biker (it keeps me sane) and enjoy most all exercise....except for running...never running...why do people run. I love to shower our dog Abby with way too much love and affection. I enjoy watching baking shows, but don't actually like desserts. I take sick pleasure in organizing things, and enjoy decorating with my mom.
Everyday is filled with a new experience and I am so happy I keep volunteering myself for things for which I am seemingly not qualified...it has made Beau and me quite the team.
Ricky has been designing and building graphics since 2001. Ever since his first project he has remained super focused on fine tuning his abilities and making each client’s product the best it can be. He aspires to be considered a craftsman in a digital age.
While he does pay close attention to modern design trends he believes in a timeless approach that mixes something fresh, with something that is tried and true. Building commercial art that helps a client envision what a property can be and branding a package that gives a product the right look and feel for a specific industry is exactly what Ricky likes best about designing in real estate. Each location is unique and around every corner is a unique opportunity.
Ricky is a proud husband and father of three amazing children (Ty, Marley, and Clay.) They are a family that operates like a true team, enjoying the great outdoors every chance they get. Most weekends they can be found on the Santa Fe river, setting up tents for a family camp out, shooting bows and playing music. Ricky and Sarah spent their first few dates surfing waves in Flagler county and when he realized she was better than him, he was hooked, and the rest is history.
Living in Lake Butler and working in Gainesville gives Ricky the best of both worlds. He can live rural and help his wife achieve the dream of having a hobby farm and still tap into all that Gainesville has to offer.
Tracy Ross was born and raised in Miami, but has been calling Gainesville home since 1997. Gainesville was geographically a half-way point to New York City where she hoped to move to and work for one of the world’s largest advertising agencies. But Gainesville proved too charming to leave!
She kept with her South Florida roots and in 2004 began working in a satellite office as a Media Buyer for an advertising agency headquartered in Ft. Lauderdale. She then spent a couple years selling radio for two of Gainesville’s most popular radio stations. In 2009 she began working with Beau as the Commercial Property Manager for AMJ Inc. of Gainesville, the region’s leading commercial real estate development and investment firm. She joined Beau’s team at Coldwell Banker M.M. Parrish Realtors in 2015, where she currently oversees client relations and manages the team’s marketing, research, sales and investment efforts.
A later in life college student, Tracy graduated Cum Laude from Santa Fe College’s Bachelor’s program in Organizational Management in 2014, making it to the Dean’s List twice; all while having a full time job. She is a licensed Realtor, a Certified Media Buyer, and a pretty good bowler. She has a son Roger, a daughter Lena, a very crazy Australian Shepherd named Takoda and a beast of a yellow lab named Ted. In 2017 she celebrated 15 years of marriage to her best friend, Mark Ross. She enjoys cooking, entertaining friends, being outdoors, and Gator football.
